Hi, I’m Nelson
I am a qualitative user researcher with experience in a wide range of research methodologies like user interviews, moderated and unmoderated usability tests, card sorting, diary studies, and survey design.
I am passionate about developing research strategies, recruiting participants, gathering feedback and delivering findings so that my research can have a notable impact on my organization’s designs.
I am always open new opportunities in Philadelphia or remote to grow my craft in a creative and challenging culture. Thank you for your consideration.
An Example Of My Work
Case Study: Assessment Analytics Dashboard
I chose the Assessment Analytics Dashboard usability test project to be the case study on my portfolio, because I believe it demonstrates my end-to-end process as a user researcher in a concise and, hopefully, easy to understand manner.
In this project, there was a notable impact of research on design, which led a more useful and usable product for our consultants right out of the gate.
My Process
When tackling any project, I always refer back to the double diamond method. I believe this method of diverging and converging exemplifies good user experience design. Like breathing, it moves us forward. In and out. One step at a time.
About Me
I have always been interested in the studies of design, psychology and technology. This is why I have dedicated myself to the field of user experience, which I believe exemplifies each of these disciplines.
In my spare time I enjoy experimenting with a wide range of creative mediums like music, painting, woodwork, and more!
